Did you know a Phone Call to the office of an MP or Senator is worth over 1,000 emails?

That is because political parties employ analysts who measure how people feel and think about issues.

They know someone who takes the trouble to talk to a staffer is a rare and very significant representative of what the electorate is thinking.

They also take phone call topics for priority when they pay people to participate in "Focus Groups".

Please consider emailing and following up with a phone call.

Good tips, thanks Geoff. I think it's good to bear in mind that registering rejection of these IHR amendments may be important for politicians who are willing to push back against the WHO but need a show of public support to take the political risk.

A political risk you say Rebeca? Why there is no mention of the importance of the IHR in the media at all? I haven’t heard anything about it, why are there no public or mail dropping in our letters boxes? When the referendum was about the Voice I knew it by having to go to vote. This time is being hushed up.

This latest petition aside, the choice appears to be between an unelected globalist technocratic elite making authoritarian decisions and an “elected” group of incompetent buffoons masquerading as a democratic institution, surreptitiously in thrall to nebulous globalist interests who have no regard for the people anyway ... at least with the WHO I know who’ll be fucking me, and not trapped in Ana abusive relationship with a government that keeps telling they love me

I see the dilemma GIO. But I must support Josephine Cashman and Rebekah who has actually put ground work into this. They are the new Breed of Diggers arising to defend Australia. It’s a dirty job digging through the mess to get the truth. Then the courage to share the truth.

Don’t confuse my gallows humour for capitulation, Allan, I agree with you here of course. Ideally we wouldn’t have a single one of the corrupt bastards in government, but I think the basis of my comment was to ask myself what difference I would have experienced had the IHR’s been implemented before “Covid” and I fail to think of a single instance wherein the WHO could have fucked this up any more than the elected federal and state governments did anyway.

Australian governments fell over themselves to comply with non-mandatory WHO recommendations during COVID. Will it make any difference if the “recommendations” become binding? Not sure, but I sure as heck don’t want Australian politicians telling us they “had to do it” (enforce a particular public health direction) because we’re obliged to follow the WHO’s “recommendations”.

And being told what medical treatments we can, can’t and must have by unelected unaccountable Australian bureaucrats is bad enough - we must dismantle the emergency powers which allow this - but subjecting ourselves to international bureaucrats is next level stupid. Why would we? How could that possibly be in the national interest?

I do appreciate your humour thanks Greg. And enjoy the banter. I certainly agree with your comment above.

Our government doesn't represent us anyway so I don't see much difference. I'll sign it though.

I think there's value registering dissent in vehicles like this to provide politicians who might agree but be unwilling to stick their necks out with a bit of confidence that there is public support for them taking a certain line.

Australian Politicians do not work or protect their Citizen. Covid taught me a lesson not to trust any government who says it’s ‘safe & effective’. And protest in Melbourne. And the sonar weapon at Canberra.

Great article and a timely reminder of this coming nightmare. And why are more people and the media not talking about this!

It’s a hard topic to cover because a) it’s very complicated and b) the government statements consistently contradict the advice of legal experts, so it’s hard to know who’s right/accurate unless you wade in deep with the nitty gritty. I’ve been researching it for months and am pulling together some pieces now.

Would it not the new International Health Regulations contravene the ‘UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF BIOETHICS & HUMAN RIGHTS, 2005. (UNESCO)’ and also the Australian Constitution whereby they can not mandate you to accept a medical treatment without your full prior consent? That’s where the hurdle is.

Subjecting ourselves to international bureaucrats with regards to International Health Regulations began while everybody was watching the moon landing on tell u vision in 1969. James Roguski explains the overall WHO situation Including “The bigger issue is to understand our representative democratic processes were lost in regards to this in 1969. What they did is they created a system where the heads of state nominate or appoint delegates to go to Geneva and make decisions in private and quiet. Nobody gives them any attention and the people don’t necessarily have a say. It’s not a loss of sovereignty because our head of state can reject them.”

I’d like to know what is the closest we have to a WHO Withdrawal Act in Australia like James Roguski explains they have in the USA here on Nov 29 2023 https://tntradio.live/shows/misty-winston-show/

Astoundingly he says that only one member of parliament, (Andrew Bridgeon in the U) IN THE WHOLE WORLD stood up against the Treaty and IHR Amendments (or something to that effect) It's a big ugly onion to unravel particularly because it goes all the way back to the Spanish Flu resulting from the first field trial where the jabs actually CAUSED the Spanish Flu.
