They’re not even trying anymore are they? I had a most illuminating conversation with a young co-worker today about a host of “current issues” … on the surface he’s educated, smart, hard working etc. But he’s ~25 … quite literally my takeaway from the chat (and we covered numerous topics like covid, gaslighting, propaganda, democracy, The Voice etc) is that his generation not only can’t imagine that there’s a problem with trust or belief in government’s intentions or credentials, but that being a contrarian or even particularly informed about a subject isn’t necessarily desirable. Why not go along? It was quite bizarre but hugely illuminating … the idea that we live in a democracy where “informed” voters should be the ones engaged in these sorts of very serious issues just didn’t particularly occur to him … it was literally about consensus, fitting in and what would his friends think. So this latest from QLD makes sense … they know their audience, the vast majority of whom are senseless, clueless, conformists who lack any semblance of critical thinking or even basic skepticism, so the only thing that matters is that first media “push” … the average voter quite literally only considers a handful of strong messages, usually the first few headlines are enough to inform their entire, permanent understanding.
I have two sons in that age group. They struggle to watch any video clip past the 10 sec mark. They struggle to read anything longer than a text message. Its the TikTok generation. Social media has hypnotized and stolen our kids. They will stay electronically sedated and manipulated for the rest of their lifes and used similar to battery hens by the masterminds behind all this. The devices will tell them everything: what to like, what to hate, what to produce, what to consume, when or if to reproduce and eventually when to die voluntarily.
So true and so sad. One of the best words I’ve learned in the past few years is “anodyne” … this descriptor of everything bland and inoffensive, driven by fear of wokeness and absolute terror of daring to stand out from the crowd. A generation cowed, embarrassed, humiliated and ashamed … of themselves, their heritage, their very presence on the planet. What makes it worse as a parent of teenagers myself is that it completely escapes them that you may in fact know what you’re talking about and may in fact be better-placed to guide their thinking or their world-view than the vapid, degenerate, AI generated banality of their social media feeds. Enough to drive a man to drink.
Thanks Greg_In_Oz, I don't think people understand what threat of death is until they have almost lost their life, had a close call, someone trying to kill them for fun or spite. It changes you. I am lucky to have had such an experience (bike road rage incident) and it really helped me grasp the enormity of understanding how my government and or its controllers really prefer we die quickly and quietly. And I never was into horror flicks till I woke up in one (ie Covid).
I have a theory (probably a conspiracy theory ;-) - since people have been jabbed, they also seem to be more fearful and frankly vague... Watching drivers on the road, they all seem to drive at between 45 and 55 in a 60 zone...
Sadly you are correct. I have been saying for some time that the only thing that will cut through the mental fog or brainwashing of the average lemming is personal suffering or disaster, and have been quietly hoping for that to happen. Unfortunately, people have an amazing ability to ignore the bleeding obvious when it comes to sudden onset symptoms post-jab, whether it be cancers, skin complaints, clots, lethargy, whatever … if their “trusted healthcare provider” says the complaint is unrelated to the jabs, well that means it must be … so we go on living in a fever dream of the majority’s creation while those who perpetrate and perpetuate the issues continue to lie and obfuscate.
I can’t recall if the same example, but there was some professor/ academic early on who had posted some screed about the importance of vaccination while at the beside of his teenage son who’d just been jabbed. He “still” recommended it despite the lad’s peri or myocarditis. Turns out he was some sort of paid influencer shill who regularly contributed to lefty quackademic think pieces. I’m grateful to covid as it shone a spotlight on all these degenerates who otherwise hide in the shadows of other societal debates (like climate alarmism) but covid brought their narcissism and banal fascism to the forefront good and proper.
Of course, why not go along? That's the reponse most hostages have when their kidnappers tell them, "Just do what you're told and no one gets hurt."
The most pessimistic prognosticators forecast a dystopian future, but it's still possible we could come back from the brink if, a) enough people realize what is going on, and b) have the courage to voice their opposition.
With such a widespread go-along-to-get-along attitude, I fear we're all doomed, DOOMED!
Unfortunately the question of whether or not enough people wake up is likely entirely dependent on just how bad things get … human beings only respond to personal strife and harm, so we will certainly be doomed in the short run.

Now you’d think they’d want to study us unjabbed for our remarkable resilience to this deadly disease. Nope ... crickets. How’s my health been? Very good actually. I had a mild cold about a year ago and that’s it. And yet I see the vaxxed getting sick over and over ... gee whiz you really think they’d be interested in finding out how us unjabbed are so damn healthy.

It is a very schmick attractive summary but it’s all sizzle and no steak. They can’t even add and divide properly to get the % correct in the table 1 & 2 Makes me wonder how good they are at “multivariate logistic regression” if they can’t get the simple arithmetic correct.
Even without the mathematical mistakes the actual study results are a big nothing burger. Have a read it basically says there is no difference. Statistically “long flu” is slightly more common (proportionally) than “long covid”. There were more “long covid” occurrences because there was more covid than flu in the community at the time. If you look at their figure 2 in the study pdf, there is basically no difference. The confidence intervals for the odds ratios (OR) straddle 1.
