They’re not even trying anymore are they? I had a most illuminating conversation with a young co-worker today about a host of “current issues” … on the surface he’s educated, smart, hard working etc. But he’s ~25 … quite literally my takeaway from the chat (and we covered numerous topics like covid, gaslighting, propaganda, democracy, The Voice etc) is that his generation not only can’t imagine that there’s a problem with trust or belief in government’s intentions or credentials, but that being a contrarian or even particularly informed about a subject isn’t necessarily desirable. Why not go along? It was quite bizarre but hugely illuminating … the idea that we live in a democracy where “informed” voters should be the ones engaged in these sorts of very serious issues just didn’t particularly occur to him … it was literally about consensus, fitting in and what would his friends think. So this latest from QLD makes sense … they know their audience, the vast majority of whom are senseless, clueless, conformists who lack any semblance of critical thinking or even basic skepticism, so the only thing that matters is that first media “push” … the average voter quite literally only considers a handful of strong messages, usually the first few headlines are enough to inform their entire, permanent understanding.
I’m waiting for the government to call us, to see how us unjabbed are doing. Has any one been contacted? Not me. Two years ago people were convinced I’d be dying in a hospital somewhere. Now you’d think they’d want to study us unjabbed for our remarkable resilience to this deadly disease. Nope ... crickets. How’s my health been? Very good actually. I had a mild cold about a year ago and that’s it. And yet I see the vaxxed getting sick over and over ... gee whiz you really think they’d be interested in finding out how us unjabbed are so damn healthy.
If only health was the only thing they lied about, I could get by. But the beggars are now lying about everything. They seem to have lost touch with the world of the 99%, and not to care.
1. One may get cancelled :) by saying the vaccine may cause a problem or death. But one can say the vaccine helps. It always helps. They take a big leap and say it helps with long covid... :) long covid, what a hoax :)
2. The QLD gov hasn't really bothered to call myself or us the unvaccinated and ask if we were sick, long covid or not. If they are honest, they would be keen to compare vaccinated vs unvaccinated and then improve. I haven't heard of anyone but I may be wrong
All this talk of "cookers" . . well to the voters of Queensland I suggest the next election is "Time to Cook the Chook". That would make a damn fine bumper sticker to spread across the car parks of Queensland.
"We conducted a multivariate logistic regression analysis, controlling for age, sex, First Nation status, vaccination analysis, and socio-economic profile based on postal code".
Translated, "we dodgied up the data, took out anything bad, applied various "conceptual conditions" and run it until it gave us the simulated scenario we were after".
This excellent piece of REAL journalism should be uploaded to FB or Insta to see how long it takes the "fact checkers" to find a reason to take it down
excellent piece! entertaining and informative. Long Covid is what they are blaming the vax injuries on now, it's nice and conflated so you can't definitively say which is the cause. No unvaxxed control group - which is the only thing that would make the studies valid.
These people have no idea. They're owned (and bought off for a cheap price), and the only thing they have going for them is the apathy, ignorance, or stupidity of the general public.
Note that Mark McGowan has ordered the Western Australia Health Department to cease publishing jab status of the Covid19 Dead to bring WA in line with the other states. I guess all 12 of the latest Dead must have been jabbed.

Don't forget to have "launches" and go to lots of conferences with dinner parties. That seems to be essential.

The propaganda was very intense during the pandemic.
Thank you for that. Not the first time, and not the only state. We need a brief warning summary for the public on this form of manipulation.
