If this is even half true, or 25% true, Albo, Butler, Gallagher et al. have sold our country to an autocratic, unelected, unaccountable, untrustworthy bunch of faceless bureaucrats with no loyalty to Australia (or anywhere else except perhaps China and Middle Eastern theocracies). Their disdain for Australia, our values, and our way of life is breathtaking. Judge them not by what they say but by what they do, and what they have done and are doing is catastrophic for Australia.

Absolutely. Following closely on the same tire tracks as the previous, equally incompetent, Hunt/Morrison debacle. They learned nothing from their predecessors (who seemed to know nothing, so I guess that’s not too surprising). Welcome to the Uniparty, not unlike that of the captured US and UK. A pox on all their houses!

The Australian population hasn't been asked if they want to be controlled by the UN - and I'm also sure what the answer would be if we were asked - see "vote vote for voice to parliament!"

Well, if they do this, people like you and me will still be refuseniks, and go out of our way to remain a conscientious objector.

Most people have no idea how ‘our’ governments are betraying us…

The deliberately manufactured ‘Covid’ crisis has cost us 1/2 a trillion dollars* and untold social and political damage.

We are beset by traitors to the people.

Imagine the good you could do with all that money.

Exactly.

And we’ve been deliberately put into debt by ‘our’ treacherous governments.

They must be brought to account, the specific individuals responsible for this ginormous crime against the people.

Elizabeth, your passion and energy (and anger) shine through in every post. Pardon the pharmaceutical-esque joke, but if you could bottle this, you'd make millions! :)

For those interested in details, according to the Department of Health, Australian treaties can only be binding if there is Parliamentary legislation to that effect. A recent statement by JSCOT elaborates this: https://www.aph.gov.au/-/media/02_Parliamentary_Business/24_Committees/244_Joint_Committees/JSCT/JSCOT_Committee_Statement_on_WHO_Related_Treaty_Actions.pdf?

Of course, I am under no illusion that the JSCOT and Parliamentary processes described will necessarily give proper consideration to any new WHO proposals or amendments. For example, JSCOT could choose to regard amendments to a treaty as 'minor, not 'major, and thus requiring little wider consultation. After all, the Parliament agreed that Excess Deaths were not too problematic, making it clear that politicians behave as directed by their parties most of the time; there's no reason to think JSCOT is any different from other committees in that respect. But the explicit statements of principle that Australia will not cede its sovereignty to external bodies are reassuring, even if the Minister seems to not take them into proper account in seeking 'binding' agreements.

Who are these political figures who decide to control al nations to suit their ideas without consulting these people Sick minds attracting even sicker ones Some people are ready to fall into line with any new ideal proposed by these influencers believing in the sneaky propaganda infused wiithin them Our country is being run by boof heads plus who have no guidance for any particular worthwhile target

Wonderful write-up of a hopelessly depressing topic, Rebekah. It feels as though this is inevitable when our own so-called representatives are hell-bent on pushing it through. I am buoyed by Katie's (and team's) valiant efforts (as well as many others), but it's getting increasingly difficult to maintain hope.

Time we heard from the Opposition on this - let's hear an emphatic "we will reverse any such legislation that overrides our parliament's authority"
