But I just watched a Dr John Campbell video wheee he showed an Australian Senator questioning a blond lady who seems to have a high position in Australian public health. Not only did she continue to defend the vaccines, but she made the outright, easily-disprovable lie that the shots protect others. This is 2023, and we still have people around who are brazen enough to say this shit, and idiots who believe them.
Australia’s political class has been a disgrace. Consistently 2-3 years behind the science, imposing drastic top-down rules based on outright untruth, wanton misuse of public funds. An utter disgrace.
Agreed. I remember seeing videos of unvaxxed Australians being forcibly removed to camps for weeks for being “near” a COVID positive person, and videos of young girls and old men being beaten by Aussie cops for not wearing masks correctly. It’s disgraceful and was reminiscent of the Nazis. I hope the good citizens of Australia will stand up to this type of oppression, or else they risk permanently losing their freedoms.
I just watched that video too. The blond woman is our Health Minister - an elected politician at a high level of responsibility (but not necessarily any expertise or even basic knowledge of science or health).
We do now have a few brave and persistent politicians who are questioning the narrative in an informed way. But all through 2020 and 2021, we had politicians like Craig Kelly (who lost his seat in the Federal election last year after he got kicked out of the Liberal Party who had sponsored him) who would stand up to an empty house and make an informed speech about HCQ, IVM & other early treatments - backed by real evidence - and get ridiculed publicly. At least now the ones who speak up are being taken seriously - though the regulators are simply doubling down and holding fast to their claims that the shots are "safe and effective" etc etc.
