I wasn't sure where to share this, but it is topical and happened in Perth and thought people would like to know (I am banned from social media which is where one would usually share something like this).
I met a woman today who had not left her home for 3 years. She was a lovely, young fit appearing lady. We got to chatting, and she said that she and her husband hadn't left their house in three years because they were so afraid of covid. The worst part is that they have a young child who spent the majority of their life living in this condition. She was 3 jabs deep, and was only confident enough to leave the house when she had recently contracted covid and recovered. I asked her why she was so scared. She said the media terrified them, specifically McGowan's pressers where he said "unvaccinated people will die." I asked her what she thought of unvaccinated people in WA and she said "there are no unvaccinated people." She was amazed when I told her about me, and the thousands of others in Perth. This is the terminal state of someone who only watches local news. How can this be? I walked away with so many questions.
It got me thinking: how many people like this are in Perth? Are there still people cowering in their homes in 2023? Who would even read this or care? Should I ring McGowan's office and tell him that this happened? I mean...this is what he wanted, right? Hopefully the right person will see this and really see what this has done to people.
