The great Senator Alex Antic would have also supported this bill had it not been for the fact his son was born just days ago and he had to be with his wife at the time.

The comments of Senator Ayers confirm that the modern ALP is either totally corrupt, or has a collective IQ somewhat less than that of the subterranean creatures that inhabit my compost pile

Both I’d warrant. They’re corrupt and too stupid and arrogant to understand the enormity of what they’ve supported.

Isnt it interesting how when in Opposition Katy Gallagher wanted a Royal Commission but now?

In the past Labor and the Greens got my vote. Since the launch of the major disempower and impoverish campaign of the cabal, I have lost trust in major parties but I value the people who stand up for our human rights and for democracy, no matter which party they come from. So here is what I plan to do. I am going to write to the four major parties and teals and tell them unless they support a royal commission I will vote for Heart Party and any other minor party or independent who supports the royal commission AND not give any preferences! So no vote for those who abstain or do not support the royal commission. May I suggest that as many others do the same as possible. Perhaps that will wake them to the possibility of a hung parliament at our next election early 2025.🙏

Careful about doing that in the House of Representatives; your vote will be deemed invalid.

If the State thought that there was the SLIGHTEST CHANCE that an enquiry would silence critics, the SLIGHTEST CHANCE, "They" would hold one, triumphantly. But They lie and lie... Excess Deaths accelerate and birthrate drops. Tick, tick, tick... The Purge 🤞

🙏 if the government response was so impressive they should wanting an enquiry to shove it down out throats

This is politics again. They are voting against the particular senators that brought the bill rather than the content of the bill. I believe that most of the electorate would support an enquiry into the states and there are very few people who would like a repeat of any of 2020-2022. I guess we are all cranks and conspiracy theorists now according to the ALP!

Senator Ayres does not rock

.. though his colourful (and pathetic) language surely means we are over the target with this Bill

a full-blooded Royal Commission remains the thing .. but this Senate version is a very strong fall-back assuming Albasleazy .. *cough* .. Albanese, votes NO to an RC

thank you RB

Yes and maybe a lot of them don't realise there are others who think like them, and I also think a lot of people are 'surviving' and lurching from current thing to current thing as the MSM sets the agenda for what to think and talk about when you get home from work. I remember, in November 2021 I co-hosted a 'difficult dinner party' for people to discuss what was happening in WA - especially the incoming mandates. The only people who came were the ones who were worried about it. A lot of us ended up not getting vaxxed and this community provided much-needed support during the tough times that followed. But had I not held that dinner party, I may have done it alone. Similarly, I attended a protest against mandates that November and when I stood there with what I think was around 10,000 others, I remember becoming overwhelmed with emotion because until then I had not realised there were so many of us. I really didn't know, I thought it was just me and a few friends. And at the protest there were all kinds of people, including nurses and policemen and doctors and laywers and old people and young people... and it gave me the confidence to start saying what I thought out loud. So what I'm saying is, once you discover people on your page, it gets easier to 'come out', but I think there are still people isolated and not connected with likeminded others.
