Wikipedia on pholcodine specifically mentions the TGA......

"Australian anaesthetists have requested a ban on pholcodine due to the high anaphylaxis rate in the country. However, the Therapeutic Goods Administration declined the request in January 2015, pending further reviews to follow."

It looks like the TGA did make their move only after.......

"In September 2022, the European Medicines Agency started reviewing its position[17] at the request of the French ANSM, which withdrew all pholcodine-containing medicines[18] after preliminary results from a local study showed an increased risk of anaphylaxis after pholcodine use.[19] The review concluded on 14 December 2022 with the recommendation that pholcodine be withdrawn from the EU market."

So the TGA drags their heals, does no real investigations, and omly acts after other people do the heavy lifting and show harm caused by a medication.

This reminds me of Maryanne Dimasi’s BMJ feature on health regulator funding. The TGA were the most compromised here with 96% funding from industry sources.

Fox in the hen house!

Goes back to the government introducing a user pays model for some regulatory agencies. The "sponsors" of "medicines" are supposed to pay "fees" to the regulator for the privilege of having their drug go through the approval process. In my view it is a system deliberately designed to foster very close relationships between corporations & governments, but it also does one more very important thing, it closes the door for natural therapies that don't have big money behind them.

TGA is as bad as the FDA, both bought out by Big Pharma.

UK Column has been reporting recently on banning of certain cough mixtures in UK. So yes, as usual, ATAGI is just following the "leader/s" and relying on them to do the research.

When are they going to get it? The risks outweigh the benefits at any age. The more you boost, the more it weakens the immune system because of the kind of antibodies the body produces.

Expand full comment

I don't get it either. This is Rand Paul video. Seems like he is advocating for just one shot as he thinks the risk of myocarditis really only goes up after the second shot. Doesn't sound like he wants kids to get the shot though. However adults should at least get ONE. Really? Isn't toxic just toxic? So most people can handle one toxic dose but not two?

While it is true that your risk goes up with each successive shot, even with one shot you are injecting a a product that makes your body generate a toxic spike protein, not to mention the liquid nanoparticule that encases the messenger RNA.

founding

It is a deeply shameful indictment on our health regulators and government institutions that appropriately stratified risk/benefit analyses were not only not used, but that those calling for them from the outset were mercilessly vilified and dismissed as far-right extremist, anti-vax, conspiracy theorists. Even after everything that has happened over the past three years, I still find it hard to believe the failures have been so egregious.

Me too.

No, not failures. It was a success for the people who planned all of this. It wasn't a mistake when people set out to do this on purpose. The crazy thing is no one stops them. I imagine years ago someone would have eventually put an end to this tyranny. But no we let it all go on.

The corruption that used to be more at the top has now filtered down into more everyday people or the hospitals staff would have never agreed to give Remdesivir to sick people when they know from doing it a hundred times before would send their patient to an early grave.

I do agree that it is more sinister, but as you mention, my point is that institutions filled with 'regular' people who would not usually operate in a corrupt manner, have failed. I agree that at a higher level, much of what has occurred has been intentional. However, after working in healthcare for many years with many good people, I cannot believe that they have enabled (and in some cases perpetrated) such ethically bankrupt policy.

the reason why no one stops them is that they are not beholden to anyone or anything, they have used legislation to bypass any oversight of efficacy, safety, manufacturing and compliance standards.

And despite the mountains of evidence available that shows that this is killing and maiming lots of people they are under zero obligation to either look at it let alone act on it.

people are playing Russian roulette every time they jab up, in essence they are US DoD made owned and distributed military countermeasure bioweapons.

Sasha Latypova explains how they managed to use specific little known legislation to bypass normal protocols, there is a lot to choose from but this one is pretty good.

I think about that too. That they are beholden to no one. Kind of like a bunch of children being raised without parents. No guidance. No one to say don't do that. Don't touch that. And of course, hey it is immoral to kill people. Like a pack of wild animals. They can always buy off, threatened, make up lies about anyone that says differently.

I wonder if AstraZeneca was constructively dismissed. Did the TGA make things difficult for them in order to manipulate them into pulling the pin on their jab so that the TGA would not have to deal with all the scrutiny that could result from a decision by them to discontinue AstraZeneca?

Will.all of the clot shots eventually be removed from the market in a similar way?

Is this the way massvaccination will end? Not with a bang but with a whimper?
