The first Christmas for your baby is always so special, even though they have no clue as to what is going on. I hope you have had a special family day with lots of love, sharing and laughter. Christmas wishes from a West Australian luvining in Thailand.
What a beautiful family, Rebekah 💛 Merry Christmas to you three 🌲 Data Centres being built everywhere. Authorities are in need of places to store enormous amount of data. Why? These data centres also use large amounts of water and electricity
Yes enjoy the special time🤗. When you get back I read recently that 6.7 trillion was spent on the wellness industry and 1.6 trillion on Big Pharma last year. Yet our whole medical system funded by the Government goes to Big Pharma. I think it is time we provided alternative options such as intravenous vitamin C instead of antibiotics. Homeopathic immunisation instead of normal schedule. Alternatives for cancer etc etc.
Merry Christmas Jenny. It would certainly be interesting to explore the scientific basis for a homeopathic immunisation plan... something I've dipped into but still have lots to learn about.
Congratulations Rebekah, what a beautiful picture!
Big things coming up this year, the collapse of the net zero ponzi due to wind droughts and the revival of the ideas of Karl Popper and Jacques Barzun.
Nice to see the family's doing well Rebekah. Best wishes for the New Year.
The "big issue" I dwell on is the decline of western civilisation.. As a child of the 40s who's father fought all through WW2, and strived to provide for his family - enabling his children to thrive - it seems to me the West has lost its mojo, gone bonkers over progressive issues, and allowed its core strengths to decline.. Sad to watch the "Australian way of life" turning in on itself as if seeking forgiveness or absolution.
I enjoyed Tony Abbott's recent book "Australia" - if you have any spare reading time!
Love the photo Rebekah, a treasure to keep always. Your little ones first Christmas is another milestone for your family. 🙏💐💕
My interest has turned to Human Rights for if we had real human rights most of the agenda would not be able to proceed.
Merry Christmas to the three of you.🎄
I study buddhist teachings and the teachings of Christ Jesus however, I feel that when it comes to our choices in life, it is our own personal integrity, humanity and morality that must be our ultimate guide to how we respond to the moral fragmentation of Life on Earth.
Merry Xmas to you Rebekah. Isaac Golden has written many books on the subject and used to be the advisor on Homeopathy to the Australian Government. He also went to Cuba twice and did a homeopathic study on immunisation against leptospirosis a bacterial infection.
Merry Christmas to you Rebekah. I've been a big fan of pretty much all of your previous dives into topics and look forward to reading whatever you produce in the future. I would love to hear more from what you've learned in recent times regarding your biggest project of all, leading up to and following giving birth to your child. I'm certain you would have done more research than almost anyone. Even just to recommend some good sources of information.
Thanks Roger, I do intend to share some of my research as there’s so much to cover when you’re expecting (or have) a baby and I’m sure people would like to have concise resource lists and summaries available to them. Merry Christmas ☺️
Well the ratchet came up recently amongst discussion with friends, it's undeniably a problem. Would be great to see the government do something useful on this issue but they seem to have only one or two hammers for every nail. And, Merry Christmas to you too.
No more important job than being Poppie's Mum. Rebekkah Im surprised and a bit alarmed that you rate the sick care system in Australia as good? I observe that it works hand in hand with Big Ag. Multi National Corporations own and control our government. eg Bayer Crop Science and Bayer Health work together to ensure customers for life through supermarkets and modern medicine. The health assaults begin soon after birth, right?
Hi Bee! I meant in my experience and relative to comparative western countries. My experience in the public system throughout pregnancy, birth, and during Poppy’s early months has been frankly outstanding, and all of it was free (tax-payer funded). In the US if I did not have a job with comprehensive insurance I’d be liable for tens of thousands of dollars, maybe more than a hundred. In the UK I might have died while waiting in line. The support available to new parents in the first months after birth is also extremely good and we have made good use of it. So, in that sense I think our health care system is one of the better ones as far as these things go. Obviously it has major shortcomings but I’m not comparing it to a perfect ideal, I was considering it against existing alternatives.
Glad to hear that it was good for you all Rebekkah! Wow I had no idea how bad things are OS. I have a lot of young friends choosing home birth and declining offers of vaccines for their children and this pleases me no end, knowing the risks versus the benefits of the childhood schedule.
Great to see you being just what you need to be right now . . and she looks like it's working ! Best wishes.
Thanks Mz, we are loving it! I think we got very lucky to have such a contended little baby, she's a joy.

Merry Christmas Jan... I've always been pretty festive but having a baby gives licence to take it to a whole new level. I am making the most of it ;)

Thank you Pillo and to you too. Good point, thank you.
Merry Christmas Rebekah
With now 3 small grandsons, having had 2 sons ourselves, my advice is to appreciate every moment with your daughter and family.
There is nothing else in life that comes close, and everything else can wait.
Merry Christmas Gareth, everyone says the time goes so fast so we are soaking it up!

Merry Xmas and happy new baby.
My interests from your excellent research and writing is centred on this this country slow but undeniable march towards National Socialism.
Merry Christmas Antipodes... and thanks for the pointer!

The Ratchet.
In response to the Bondi attacks, politicians are predictably restricting freedoms, rather than even talking about Islamic extremism.
But why was it predictable? Why is our polity configured to react the same way to everything?
Well the ratchet came up recently amongst discussion with friends, it's undeniably a problem. Would be great to see the government do something useful on this issue but they seem to have only one or two hammers for every nail. And, Merry Christmas to you too.
And Merry Christmas
