I blame Cookie for the jab rollout and mandate madness.
He could have stood up to McGowan, but he melted like a snowflake in the hot Pilbara sun.
Of course he is gonna defend his position, but like you pointed out, and like McGowan before him, he will use smear and name calling rather than science.
I hope enough Aussies hear this new from the Pilbara, and start to ask questions.
I am anticipating an escalation of the smear campaign to cow other councils into refraining from a similar vote. It will be great if there are some brave enough to do it anyway!
“In my experience with government, the police, and other agencies that wield power - if you’ve got dissenters that oppose the position of interest groups, they actively go out there in the media and discredit the source of the information.
“They did it to me when I was Mayor. They did it to dissenting doctors who were demonised during Covid, and now they’re doing it to us on this,” he said.
This bit of your report is incredibly important for all other councils to understand.
Fear is nothing if they follow the 1st rule of conflict:
Rule 1 - You always get hurt in a fight.
That is, when you know and accept the consequences of your actions in a hostile environment, you loose all fear of the acts to follow.
That is so important and great that you highlight the reality of this.
I have come to accept my vaccine injuries, my heart damage, my neurological problems they can't hurt me worse than they already have....
I take the potential reputational damage hit and let people know.... I've had a few very fruitful conversations of late and helping to amass awareness about the crimes that have been perpetrated in this country.
It really is not looking good for the incumbent attitude and anyone holding tightly onto the safe and effective narrative is going to be on the wrong side of history.
No wonder they want to try to kick the can down the road with the mis/disinformation bill
I think we're just seeing the first small ripples of a coming giant tsunami wave of resistance to the intended one world dictatorship. How inspiring and refreshing!
Thank you to all the brave women and men who have acted for freedom.
The claim that "vaccines are not dangerous" overlooks the complexity of vaccine safety. While vaccines have been effective in preventing diseases, they are not without risks. Clinical trials often use methods that obscure the full extent of adverse effects, and post-marketing surveillance systems capture only a small fraction of vaccine-related injuries. Additionally, safety data can be manipulated or under-reported, making it difficult to assess the true level of risk. There are also concerns about the long-term health impacts of vaccines, which are not always fully studied. Thus, presenting vaccines as universally safe dismisses legitimate concerns and undermines the importance of transparency and informed decision-making—An absolute excellent report Rebekah!
Not to mention that Cook is backed into a corner on this, because he was ultimately responsible, alongside McGowan, for coercing West Australians into getting the shots in 2021 when phase three trials weren't even completed yet.
I'm sure you'll be aware of "Willful Blindness," but for your readers; it occurs when individuals, including responsible Ministers, deliberately ignore or avoid crucial information they are duty-bound to address. In the context of health mismanagement, if a Minister is aware, or reasonably should be aware, of serious health risks—such as unsafe medical practices or flawed public health policies—that could or do lead to widespread illness or death but chooses not to investigate or act, this constitutes willful blindness. This inaction, especially when credible people such as other MPs or a formally constituted council raise concerns, has significant legal ramifications. The Minister can be held liable for the resulting harm, as willful blindness suggests they should be treated as if they had knowledge of the issues they ignored, leading to accountability for any deaths that occur. I've written about this on my substack, but perhaps its a bit abstract for people to comprehend. As far as I understand it, Willful blindness is a legal doctrine or concept often used in criminal law to establish culpability. It refers to situations where an individual deliberately avoids acquiring knowledge of facts that they should be aware of, particularly when they have a duty to know.
A powerful legal remedy that compels a public official to perform a duty they are legally obligated to carry out, is called Mandamus. If applied to the Premier of a state, it could be used to force the Premier to investigate a serious health issue that is causing widespread death among constituents. This writ could be sought when there is a clear legal duty for the Premier to act, such as overseeing public health or ensuring the safety of the population, but they have failed or refused to do so. In this case, a court could issue a mandamus order, compelling the Premier to investigate and address the health crisis, ensuring that they fulfill their legal responsibilities to protect public welfare. Such a ruling would reaffirm the importance of governmental accountability, particularly in matters of life and death. Just saying.
Some illuminating background in this post - illustrating the type of resistance Councillors Blanco, McRae and colleagues are up against in their quest for transparency and truth.
I note here, as example, the dialogue from Ordinary Council Meeting - 25 September 2024 (the previous meeting video from the 18:00 minute timestamp to 21:50, followed by a 6 min recess, then 28:25 to 33:40) where legitimate and pertinent questions to the Mayor by a member of the public and Councillor Blanco are parried incessantly to obfuscate a straight answer, using the insertion of a defensible but incomplete alternative answer. This would indicate the tactical inclinations of certain dissenting council members to conceal access to relevant information and dodge responsibility.
The dissemination task ahead for this distressing DNA contaminant information will, in many quarters, be most likely to encounter this same tactical ambivalence and incredulity to the truth - the motte-and-bailey fallacy again. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motte-and-bailey_fallacy].
My intent here is to reveal this pervasive tactic so that it can be recognised and called out for the disingenuous deception that it is.
My hope here is that the integrity of the Speicher study, and the mission to publicise it can overcome all obstacles and pave a broad path for genuine investigation and eventual solution. Godspeed.
Very good interview on how the brave actions of the Port Hedland Councillors is reverberating around the world, making fools our our P.M. and the W.A. Premier and increasing pressure upon them to respond - not with ridicule as is now the case - but properly. Will they?
I'm thinking of writing something about this. I sat with a vaccine injured woman and her husband the other day (they may read this) and the quiet and crushed sense of betrayal was palpable. I couldn't help but wonder - what happens to the social fabric over time when the sense of betrayal on the grass roots level builds and builds, and the people in charge at the top persist in dealing with efforts to be heard and helped by smearing the helpers and crushing dissent?
Profound integrity, absolutely. There are just so many damaged people so it occurred to me that none of this is going away. People might be quiet about it but they don't just 'get over' that kind of thing.

Yes and on that front the Port Hedland Council seems to know exactly what they're in for, so kudos to them for doing it anyway.
I heard that from the 'horses' mouth, Rebekah!
That is so important and great that you highlight the reality of this.

Wow, a great, balanced, article Rebekah. Hopefully, this create a pond-like ripple which will cause people to think.
I also agree with the Premier when he says vaccines save lives, however he doesn't mention that this "vaccine" failed on ALL counts!
Haha yes he should tell us what he things about mass administration of gene therapies.
Someone's upset, Lol, not the role of council....
Well, if the state gov, fed gov, and senior health bureaucrats won't listen....
It's of to council we go....

At last one area of government has seen sense. Hopefully others will follow in debunking and deleting this massive scam.

This whole W.A. story will one day make a great film I'm guessing.
I would love to see a doco on the Port Hedland community. It is so rich with characters and stories.
Great story, Rebekah, excellent getting the WA Premier's response. Thanks for catching my typo I have fixed it now, also linked to your story.
Oh great I'll amend in my reprint now :)

Any vaccinations will only support Big Pharma so refuse until proper honest information is supplied Smart move by council bodies on vaccinations
