Kirk was definitely one of the good guys. I watched quite a few of his debates, from the Oxford Union to the campus stuff. He never belittled anyone and was always respectful.
Contrast that with the absolute deluge of invective pouring out of Reddit and Blue Sky by the deranged leftists.
The WEF aligned governments like ours always talk about 'right wing extremists' (and unsurprisingly that's how MSM has painted Kirk), but it's clear that those on the left are the true Fascists and danger to civil society.
I also think what Unbekoming writes about in the substack below on how medications play a big part in why empathy is lacking in so many people along with personality changes. For example, how many people take panadol (Tylenol) for every little ache and pain, (now shown to reduce empathy). So tragic that a man, husband and father of two babes is so publicly murdered. Though I've been aware of Kirk for many years I never went out of my way to search out his work as I found him to be serving too many interests simultaneously, perhaps that was my failure. I deeply dread the thought that this horrific event is so useful to so many.
I'm late to the party, but dropping in to say that the context of Kirk's argument on the human life trade off for guns related to a comparison of 41,000 (2023) automobile-related deaths in the US. The car deaths are a trade-off for the convenience of cars - a trade most people accept and understand.

It's all pretty deplorable really. Was the trigger-puller one psychotically deranged by medication whose side effect was to precipitate such behaviour? I had never heard of Charlie Kirk until I learnt of his slaughter in Utah. To understand that he was an outstanding representative, bringing open debate to university campuses, by generating civility and respect towards those of differing points of view, enables me to gain some perspective. Is it part of the machinery of the deep state to seek to entrench division and animosity within society, that to allow the influence of one whose whole modus operandi was to bring people together in discourse, was to invite his assassination? I have no desire to watch any footage of Charlie Kirk's death because it would not serve me to to have such imagery imprinted in my consciousness. If nothing else, may the event in Utah a few days ago serve to bring into stark relief the utter absurdity of the extreme leftist ideology - of the totally corrupt US Democratic party. Criminality has no purpose whatsoever in society.

Amazon advertised a book about the alleged shooting - but book was published on 9th, alleged shooting on 10th September. Very strange! Amazon has now removed details of this book, but I found it here .....
