My fiancé Ryan became a local celebrity last week after he was bitten on the leg by a shark while going for a sunset surf at Trigg Beach on the Perth coast.
Sadly not enough politicians go surfing, on second thought that may cause a shark extinction event. Glad your bloke came away with all his bits and hope for his speedy recovery.
P.S. Can we please have some of that Global Warming in Melbourne?
Hopefully AI will make politicians an endangered species like the white shark... But until then we can still hunt them and sell their teeth...but not their spines, because the politicial sub-species that have backbone are nearly extinct.

Yep, I get it. A friend of ours was killed by a shark in the Whitsundays a few years ago - he was best man at my sister in law's wedding, and we did some skits together, had a ball - and then 2 days later he was dead.
It's so incredibly unlikely - but still possible. Many in the family still cannot go deeper than thigh in the ocean since. I must admit it flashes through my head too, and I had to push myself to get back out deep, and to surf. Just keep telling myself, one in a few million. Do you feel lucky, punk.. :-)

We have been travelling the last couple of days and when Matt (my husband) casually mentioned that your partner had been bitten by a shark, my first reaction was panic! I can't imagine what a fright it must have been for you guys! Very clever of Ryan to start his text with "I'm ok...". Very relieved and happy for you guys seeing it wasn't more serious. Take care. 🤗
