Hi friends,
This year, I am transitioning to writing full time. I’ll be bringing the same quality content and interesting stories you don’t see on the nightly news, but I’ll be dedicating more time to research, deep diving, and talking with people you didn’t know you needed to hear from, but really do.
With my transition to making this a full-time thing, and with a fresh year, I’m taking the opportunity to refine my offering here on DDU.
My wish is that everyone should be able to access the news regardless of their financial means, so all my news posts will remain free, and probably commentary posts as well. The main differences in subscription levels will be around comment and community participation.

Participate in exclusive online meet ups - I haven’t decided how often or nailed down format but at the moment I’m thinking of Zoom catch ups with Ask Me Anything… open to suggestion from Founders.
Sleep like a baby knowing you are financially supporting independent journalism on important topics such as government and big pharma corruption, censorship, and emerging science.

A year ago I wrote a mini manifesto for why DDU exists, and what I’m hoping to achieve. In brief, my mission here at DDU is to:
Inform
Equip
Keep receipts
You can read the expanded mission statement below.
On a personal note, my high of 2023, both literally and figuratively, was getting engaged on the top of Mt Batur in Bali, at sunrise. Well done Ryan for nailing the surprise - it was the last thing I expected after hiking directly vertical for several hours in the dark.
I’m also happy to announce that I am starting 2024 on a professional high, as I am a grateful recipient of a fellowship with the Brownstone Institute. I have been part of the Brownstone community as a contributing author for the past year, so it’s exciting to have the opportunity to become a fellow this year, which will afford me more time to dedicate to research and writing.
Thank you all for your support and participation in growing this Substack over the past year. Onwards!
To support my work, make a one-off contribution to DDU via my Kofi account and/or subscribe. Thanks!
Hi Rebekah. Please feel free to add my 'pandemic archive' section (brand new) to your arsenal of research tools. It is live all the time, constantly updating covid/vax related news articles as my webcrawlers find them. All is easily searchable, and there is almost 2 years worth of news to explore (early 2022 to now). You could possibly find breaking stories, or use it to look back for articles you might need as reference. If you use it, I hope it helps. Cheers.

Keep up the great work. 👍

Awesome news about Brownstone too. You are in good company there. Looking forward to 2024.
